Others join Wealth Affiliate to learn how to build an online business by promoting other products. By becoming an affiliate of a company such as Nike, you can promote their products and receive commission from your sales. Wealthy Affiliate will teach you this form of marketing.
Many others combine the two. Many will promote the Wealthy Affiliate program and earn an income while also promoting company products for additional income.
This is definitely possible if you make an effort, and the great thing about it is that you can earn by having a website about something you are passionate about – no matter what the topic is.
Others join to learn skills to promote a business they already have whether it is an online business or a brick and mortar business. There are many ways to earn with what you will learn.

Are There Any Extra Costs?
I know from experience that many services online offer an initial price to join that may be low, and you get access to training. But for more advanced training, UpGrade.
I know of two well known programs that use this tacit.
You get started, but after a while, they will tell you to make even more money you have to pay an upgrade to get access to the next level, and then even more money can be made if you will upgrade again get access to the advance level of training, etc. Many of the platforms that use this technique can end up being very expensive.
When I first found out how it works at Wealthy Affiliate, I was very pleased. You know exactly what your costs will be, and there are no sneaky extra costs that suddenly show up. I paid the yearly price for the Premium membership and not a penny more.
Every single tool, training, etc. are included in your membership. The only tool you can choose to upgrade is the keyword research tool. This is however not necessary, and you will easily be able to manage with the keyword tool access that is included in your membership.
It’s important to know that the training is constantly updated, and there are monthly training on every subject to increase your success.
The platform keeps evolving, and for the time I have been a member, I have seen some huge improvements and new amazing tools becoming a part of the platform – none of it has increased the price.
Wealthy Affiliate Complaints
While doing my research I did find some complaints. Many of the articles I read were very vague on complaints but they were also trying to sell you on their program.
In general, by far most members are happy with their membership. I have however heard, and seen a couple of complaints, so I want to address them here. I have mainly seen three different kinds of complaints:
- People do not make enough money:
I have heard some complaints that it takes too long to make money with Wealthy Affiliate. This mainly comes down to what expectations you have. Remember that I mentioned above, that it take time to become successful with any job let alone affiliate marketing.
Some people join Wealthy Affiliate and thing they will have instant success. When it does not happen they quickly blame Wealthy Affiliate for their lack of patients.
For some they have a tendency to chase “shiny objects” online that can make them rich overnight. This is a lack of commitment. They “TRY” Wealthy Affiliate for a few month while also looking at the “shiny objects” for the quick buck.
Creating a sustainable income online takes some time, and effort. If people join with wrong expectations, they will obviously be disappointed.
- You can only make money by promoting Wealthy Affiliate:
I have seen a few people claim that Wealthy Affiliate is kind of a pyramid scam, and that you can only make money by promoting the program itself.
I can say from personal experience that this is definitely NOT true. Yes, you can earn commissions if you promote Wealthy Affiliate like you can by promoting more or less any other kind of online training program, and I do promote Wealthy Affiliate and make money by the promotion.
But this is by far the only way to make money with what you learn on Wealthy Affiliate. I believe that these claims come from people that have not understood the full depth of the training, and tools on the Wealthy Affiliate platform or that have never actually tried it themselves.
As mentioned, many for the these site compare Wealthy Affiliate while trying to promote their programs.
I have personally been able to create a niche website that does not promote Wealthy Affiliate – it now generates a good income, and I have done this by following the training, and using the tools on Wealthy Affiliate.
