Do you think that a good Keyword would have a positive impact your business?
Using “buying keywords” to rank on the front page on all the major search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and even YouTube is one of the most powerful ways to attract a target market audience that converts into a sell or a membership.
What Are Buying Keywords?
Let’s begin by saying that not all keywords are created equal.
What people type into search engines provides insight into their frame of mind at the time of search.
Some keywords expose the intent to learn or get help with something. For example, “what is the best car wax?” or “how to clouds form?”, “how to tie a tie?” or “why is the sky blue?”
The best indicators of what people are searching for is the term: “What”, “How”, “Why”
“How do I…?” or “What is the best…?” or “Why is…?”
These examples show interest in an issue.
Using the “Why?” for example, “Why can’t I get traffic to my website?” or “Why do I get a migraine after drinking coffee?”
The “How” can be used as: “How can I lose weight?” or “How can I learn Spanish?”
“Why” is another important term: “Why am I so tired?” or “Why are flags flown at half staff?”
There’s another type of phrase used in search engines when someone is ready to make a purchase.
An example might be, “The price of XXX (gold)” or “Could you survive XXX (on Mars?)” You maybe looking for a coupon: “Coupons XXX (for Amazon)”, where XXX represent a set of phrases or “buyer keywords.”
Let’s look at the Buyer Keywords
What Are The Buyer Keywords Should I Use Them?
Buyer keywords are the phrases people use in search engines when they are searching to BUY a product or service. The intent behind buyer keywords shows that the searcher is actively in the buying cycle, already aware of their need and seriously considering the solution they want.
Should I use Buyer keywords in my blog articles….Yes or No?
The answer is Yes.
So why should you care about BUYER keywords? And more important how do you find them?
Before we answer these questions, it helps to understand how buyer keywords fit within the whole buying process, and how people use search engines to move through that process.
BUYER keywords are the words and phrases people use when conducting a search to BUY products or services online. Buyer keywords indicate intent.
It says, “I’m read to buy”, ‘I’m ready to purchase”, ‘I’m ready to order” that indicate the person making the search in REAL TIME and getting ready to whip out their credit card and BUY something… from somebody. Somebody like you!
That ‘somebody’ should be YOU, right?
Four Stages Of A Buying Cycle
It’s often said that, “People do not like to be sold, but we certainly LOVE to buy things!”
The buying process for just about any product or service can be simplified into stages.
- Pain or Issue Awareness
- Research or Information-gathering
- Comparison or Risk Reduction
- Buying
In the first phase a potential customer becomes aware of a problem or Pain.
This is where they recognize that they have a need for something. For example: A pet owner discovers their dog has fleas or the PROBLEM/PAIN phase.
This realization brings up any number of questions like “How To Resolve?” They now enter the RESEARCH phase:
- What are fleas?
- How do I get rid of fleas?
- What else do I need to do to resolve this problem?
During the research phase your CUSTOMER or PROSPECTS will be introduced to different products and services and will start to enter the COMPARISON phase.
This phase is where the customer or prospect begins to compare various products or business opportunities. They start to compare the Benefits, Features, The Cost, Reviews, Application…etc.
The comparison now leads to deeper research such as Googling various companies or brands.
At this point the customer or prospect will start to enter the XXX vs YYY comparison.
In the example of “dog fleas”, they may compare, Advantage II vs Frontline Plus.
Comparison searches are now starting to lean HEAVILY toward becoming a “BUYING KEYWORD” phrase with intent to purchase or becoming a member of the company.
The reason is because the customer or prospect has narrowed down their final consideration list.
The final phase or BUYING is evidenced when the customer or prospect starts searching for a way to actually PURCHASE the product, service or becoming a member!
Ideally, this is where you want to make sure your OFFER ranks front and center and you earn the CLICK.
You now made a sale! Congratulations!
